My YouTube channel consists primarily of short little trivia Fun Facts that I’ve been sharing essentially as a way to get more eyes on the words “Emona Literary Services™” and maybe also to prove that I know a lot of weird stuff…

Today I shared a fact that is both fun and particularly meaningful to me as an autistic person. That being that December 23 is the feast day of St. Thorlak Thorhallsson, a medieval Icelandic Bishop who was been popular locally in Iceland for centuries, was formally canonised as patron saint of Iceland in 1984 and – due to displaying traits largely consistent with recognised autistic traits – is becoming increasingly popular as an at least unofficial patron saint of autism and autistic people.
