“Stop! Thieves” Freya cries as she and the Lyte Brigade pursue the gang of criminals who has pilfered the Magicological Academy’s collection of manuscripts.

As the Lyte Brigade chases them down the streets of Porthaven, their ill-gotten gains rumble along the cobblestones in a cart – the cart also being stolen.

“They’re getting away!” Nolan cries.

“Keep running, close the distance,” Tancred urges. “We can’t just blast them with magic, or we’ll damage the manuscripts.”

“Ugh,” Freya groans. “I need to get closer. I can’t get a good line of sight for my spells.”

“But I thought we can’t just blast them?” Matilda interjects.

“One does not typically blast with ice magic,” Freya replies. “But I need to get closer.”
