So, for context, the “young woman” speaking is Tancred’s cousin Freya, whom the Lyte Brigade will be helping fight some book thief bad guys.

The young woman bows graciously. “Yes, the Lords-Faculty of the Magicological Academy are quite thoroughly outraged by these manuscript thieves and are quiet eager to see them brought to heel. And of course, we shall do just that! And how could it be otherwise? For who shall withstand the rightness of our cause?”
With a fire burning in her eyes, she resolutely balls her hand into a fist.
“We shall crush them beneath the sheer weight of just ice!”
Pela blinks in confusion. “Don’t you mean justice?”
Now it’s Freya’s turn to blink in confusion. “No. I mean just ice. You know, only ice? Nothing but ice?”
“N-no,” Pela mutters.
Freya says. “I’m quite the specialist at ice magic, you see. In fact, I’m officially certified by the Lords-Faculty as a ninety-ninth percentile ice magic-user.”
